File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Email was never meant for sending large files. It was designed for passing on five-year-old virus warnings to everyone in your address book. If you have a large file you can send it to this host: “ftp.meandmymouse.com” and add this directory: “incoming”. Am I a stick-in-the-mud or what? If you don’t know what ftp is, send your file as an email attachment just this one time and then ask me to explain ftp to you. This way you can use it the next time you want to send me a large file. |
