The challenge: Redo one web site and create another from scratch, for a senior care and a short-term residence facility.

The solution: Introduce visitors to the residents and the employees. Help them feel at home.

The skinny: As with Bob Beaudoin ’s solar installation company, it ’s the people that make the difference. The name “Orchards at Southington” is an amalgum of the names of the two facilities used only for this composite.

The home page I created speaks to the heart of those who are looking for a residential care facility for an aging parent. The grahics are warm, yet upbeat and contemporary. The site answers the most compelling questions: what does the place look like, who works there and who lives there? In essence, will my mom or dad be happy and well-cared-for?

This comp is all that I created. Alas, sometimes you just don’t get the job!
